Challenges of Children in Poor Rural Areas: Children in poor rural areas, and especially Roma, struggle with stigma, lack of confidence in their abilities, and lack of access to food, education and culture. Lack of resources prevents them from developing their potential and creating a better future for themselves.

Prin proiectul “Daruieste Viata”, dorim să aducem lumină în acest întuneric, oferind copiilor (și chiar și adulților) o cale spre educație. We want to open their horizons and give them the way to discover and develop their talents through the following actions of the team and volunteers:

Actions for CHILDREN:

• Education:
  • After school
  • Adult and child literacy
  • English language
  • Cultural activities
• Development:
  • Music lessons (instruments and singing)
  • Workshops on different topics
  • Games, camps and sports activities

For Youth and Adults:

• Physical and mental health:
  • Health and intimacy education
  • Personal counseling
• Legal Support:
  • Support in relations with the authorities
  • Help with issuing documents

THE EFFECTS of our community involvement:

• Developing Skills and Self-Confidence: By participating in activities, children develop their musical and performance skills. This helps boost self-confidence and improve self-esteem.
• Promoting Inclusion and Diversity.
• Combating Stigma and Prejudice: We offer a positive and authentic perspective on the life and contribution of the Roma community to society.
• Improving Access to Education and Culture: Stimulating creativity and interest in learning.
• Increasing Social Cohesion in the Whole Village Community.
• Improving Physical and Mental Health: We contribute to improving general health and enhancing community well-being.

In conclusion, we want to turn prejudice into understanding and interactions into a vehicle for learning, giving them the chance to be heard and valued.
